im not a byrd fan but hes slick and crafty like spinks, which i respect. im not really a hater of his but i would'nt say im a fan either.

I have come to except the fact that I'am one of the only boxing fans who enjoys watching Byrd fight and appreciates his skills, so these threads don't bother me anymore.

The hate that comes for Byrd should not bother you CITA. For most of the so called fans Byrd is a very boring fighter. He does not have the **** in his hands and for casual fans that nullifies all of his skill and slickness. Same reason not that many people like Spinks.
Basically all of their fights (Byrd, Spinks) are very predictable. The other reason Byrd is hated is his behavior before the fight he does not talk smack(a la Toney) and puts little effort to promote his fights or make them exciting
