Why Floyd hurt his hand

Floyd's hand problems had seemed to disappeared the few years, which was credited to a switch in the brand of glove that he was using (winning) that are considered softer and more protective of the hands than other conventional brands. However last night I noticed that Floyd was using Grant gloves for some reason, and his hand problems came back.

Does anyone know why or what would cause the switch?

And do you think he will go back to winning after this fight?

I think he used Grant to match his outfit.
I don't think Winning makes Pink & Black gloves.
