Good win for Floyd, the last few rounds were a bit boring, but he fought a brilliant fight. I thought Baldi was gonna give him trouble, but that was not the case. If he didn't hurt his hand, I think he could've made Baldi quit in the corner because he was getting tattooed.

Concerning Nady, he did become too "native" happy lately.
Which saddens me, cause he ref'd one of the most memorable fight to me -- Tszyu/Judah( I am curious, if Judah beah Kostya in that fight, would he be better fighter today, I sincerely think Kostya stole Judah's chin and confidence in that fight)

Concerning Floyd, I am not sure that I was that impressed with Floyd, he done what I pretty much expected him to do(well I hoped for Baldi to win, but still expected him to lose) Floyd did his thing. Baldi fought exactly like Floyd wanted him to fight.
You're right, I expected Baldi to be on his chest from round one, instead of holding back. That said, he did a pretty good job of holding back and being able to tag Floyd at times, more than I expected. I still only gave him the share of two rounds, though.

You really think Wlad can pull it out of the bag? Surely he can't beat pink and half-naked gladiators?

Yeah, the naked gladiators were a bit too much imo. Dunno how Wlad will top this, maybe a naked male chorus singing ukrainian national anthem.
Or transvestite singers performing the "Simple the Best" song.

He's certainly going to have to dig deep. I've made a poll on it in the lounge.

I am impressed with Floyd's ability to avoid fighting, box as little as possible, and still win a fight.

I saw very little boxing but lots of great footwork, superb defense, strategy and most importantly intelligence.

                  Mayweather overly simplified but close:

It was back up, look, move forward fast and punch, run backwards in a swervy line onto the ropes, take a few punches, spin around placing Baldomir on the ropes, land a few punches, run backwards out of reach and repeat over and over. Run down the clock...

Oh ya and in between cover up making Baldomir hit your arms and hands.

How many rounds can you run down the clock?
Master 12 rounds of that and win the fight.

Some fights seem to need more than 12 rounds; the results would be different in so many fights.

I'm not sure what 'ugh' means, to be honest. But my comment concerned only the phrase "objective truth as I see it," not anything you said about boxing.

You always make sense, Mr. Anorak sir.

Ah, I see, you mean the because if it's how I see it, it must, by definition, be subjective, hmmmm?

Basically, this is it: I bring the truth down from Mount Sinae on two pillars of stone. Those who can't accept my wisdom will one day learn to worship it.
