Jay Nady - Whats he all about?

I didn't see this but it was discussed heavily by the British commentary team that Jay Nady during his pre fight instructions in PBF's dressing gave him some serious nut hugging?

Apparently he told Floyd that it was an 'Honour and privilege to referee such a great champion' etc etc.

Can anyone confirm this?

If so what do you think as this is not acceptable, referees have to be impartial and unbiased, in most other sports this may have been enough to call a no contest or end the game and I'm sure Baldomir's team would have had something to say if the fight ended controversially!

This is no reflection on PBF who deserved his win but Nady needs to be looked at very closely!

Wow that is dumb, referees are supposed to be paid not be startruck yet there was on his knees like others on other sites.

Watch De la Hoya-Mayorga and you can see the same obsequious attitude from Nady, this time in the ring.

There's a weird moment where he warns both fighters about rabbit punches when Mayorga just threw some. Later, when you realize he thinks DLH is the boss, it makes sense. He's telling DLH : I just warned Mayorga about rabbit punches.

When DLH head butts Mayorga, the first thing Nady does after examining it, is go over to DLH and report there’s no cut.

I didn't see any calls that looked biased but the appearance was really that he thought DLH was the boss in the ring. Maybe he's just a fan.

Nady is a joke though, Floyd cut Baldi in the first round with the tape on his glove when he would put the forearm in Baldi's face, Baldi puts his forearm in Floyds face for a milisecond and Nady jumps in and threatens to take a point away from Baldi lol...After that, Baldi knew he was ****ed lol...

What Nady should have done is his job, what that means is to enter both the boxers dressing rooms and explain the rules of the governing bodies and lay down his personal preferences in the running of the fight not deviate at all from those guidelines and certainly not express any form of favoritism in any way to any of the fighters.

Jay nady is a SUCK ASS ref... and he DID stop that judah fight early....


Judah has 10 seconds to get up... nady didnt even count.. judah jumped up as soon as he fell so that caused him to wobble of coarse, but right when nady seen the wobble he waved it off.... when nady was waving judah was all up in his face like Noooo, im finee (and he WAS ready to go at that point)

if nady wouldve atleast counted, judah wouldve made it, that was a championship bout, u dont stop a big fight like that

nady refereed an awful fight. he never warned mayweather about his elbows. i counted 8 elbows that mayweather landed in the first 4 rounds.
