Margarito won't get anywhere Near PBF !

Yes he will get a little closer than Baldy, but not much.

Everyone thought Baldy's size, pressure and strength gave him a little bit if a chance.

The only boxers who will come close to PBF are those with somewhat similar hand and foot speed so Mosley comes to mind. Pressure fighters like Hatton and Margarito don't stand a chance, he's too smart, his D is too good, it's not that his handspeed is so fast, his whole body is so fast and his footwork is masterful

their styles are not similar at all, Baldi has 1/2 the workrate, 1/3 the conditioning, and 1/4 the power (the final two figures are estimated of course, but you get my point). That fight would NOT play out the same IMO, floyd has a longer reach than baldomir, not so with margarito. Floyd dodges many punches and even the ones baldy hits him with are devoid of power, not so with margarito. Baldomir was slowing down after about the 4th round, NEVER so with margarito.

Not to say margarito will win it hands down at all, but margarito will be a much tougher fight and will give him many more problems. If floyd can avoid the overhand right that will be thrown about 35 times per round for 12 rounds, then he wins a UD.

Study up on Margarito. Baldomier and Margarito are two differnt fighters. Theirs a reason why Baldomier say, "the one man i will not fight is Margarito!"

From what i hear on floyds performance, i don't even care for Floyd fight - i don't want to see floyd run from Margarito all night long. With all these other fighters "woofing" that they will fight Margarito, and with Floyds performance, i'd like to see Margarito clean out the division one by one and forget about floyd untill floyd is ready to step up to the challenge and holpfully floyd wont use his bicycle against Margarito.

Yeah Margarito definently has a better chance against Floyd than Baldomir did.

There are so many welterweights out there. Margarito can fight many others out there besides Floyd.

Floys is just so fast and so intelligent. Remember that Baldomir is 35 also and known for being slow and lacking a punch. Floyd deserves credit in as much as he took every minute of every round from the universally recognized welterweight champion. But Margarito is a different fight altogether. Margarito won't give a **** what Floyd hits him with, he'll march in and hit Floyd with serious power.

I agree...........no matter how much I try to hate PBF and no matter how much I hope he loses he dominates...........He is unbeatable at the moment Oscar would have a shot though.
