    Some post-fight thoughts

How ridiculous is it that a fighter can completely dominate a fight, yet still be criticized? I wanted the KO as much as everyone, but it was obvious to me by the 9th round that Floyd was only using his left hand (meaning he had hurt his right) and there wasn't going to be a KO. People are saying that the fight was boring, but guess what..... THAT IS BOXING. Floyd put on a boxing clinic and if you have young fighters who want to learn how to fight, that is what you show them.

I know that you've all been waiting for a fighter to pull Larry Merchant's card like that. Merchant is an *******. I remember when he and Foreman used to butt heads during fights and for some dumbass reason they got rid of Foreman. The best part of my night was watching someone finally put Merchant in his place.

It will be interesting to see when Floyd fights next. Will his hand force him to sit out until the DLH fight or can he still fight in Feb.? And if so, who will he fight. Mosley is the best fight, Spinks might also be competitive. Hatton is basically out of the picture, and I think Floyd proved tonight that if you are a slow, sloppy puncher you can't beat him (Margarito).

If people expected Mayweather to KO Baldomir, they can **** off with their hating selves. Baldomir is big even for a 147lber. Floyd started below Lightweight for crying out loud. Plus Gatti and Judah failed to hurt this guy, and they can **** for real at 140-147.

If people expected Baldomir to make it a good fight, they need to get their heads checked because they are the reason **** like this ends up on PPV.

Fight was boring because everyone loves offense... That's in any sport... Everyone would rather watch the Falcons offense on the field rather than the Ravens defense on the field... It's been said so many times... Offense sells tickets... Defense wins championships... Floyd is being criticized for not showing offense when he is putting on a defensive clinic... He took the open shots he had and didnt get hit... If I was his trainer I'd say "Great work, go get ya' belt and let's go cash this check"....
