Unfortunately, i have to swallow my words tonight

I'll just come out and say it...

the HBO card tonight, despite all the cheerleading i tried to do for it this week leading up to it, was HORRIBLE..

the opening bout, with two basically unknown heavyweights was the highlight of the PPV, a pretty exciting 8 round fight

Paul Williams vs. bum was a great show of Williams' talent, but MY GOD if Cortez is gonna allow fights like those to continue, get him the hell out of boxing for good...

ultimately dissapointed in Guerrero tonight, as he just seriously looked thrown off completely by his opponent, credit to him, BTW, since none of the HBO team would really give him any, the guy just pressured ALL 12 rounds.. i think Guerrero can learn from tonight, however

and (other than the last 2 rounds and Merchants classic rant with the "P4P king") how can you even try to like PBF the way they hang from his nuts? truely, i had to shut the volume off... the fight went exactly how 99.99% of boxing fans thought it would with Floyd coasting to a decision.. Floyd def. came off as an ******* in that post-interview BTW.. you think Winky leaving the ring early was bad, how bout putting on the bore-fest of the year and then saying you're the best ever??

It's not a conspiracy Floyd!! There's a reason all these commentators (Kenny, Merchant, etc) are questioning you!!!!

All in all, i'll gladly bow my head in defeat to those that saved their $49.95 for something (anything) more worthwhile... however i will say the Pacquiao-Morales should be worth the dough..

You paid $50 to watch Floyd showcase his boxing skills.

You thought he was gonna mix it up and get his ass nailed like Gatti?

Only reason I wouldn't say this was a sure Floyd win is because I thought Mayweather lost a fair some amount of speed at 147. If he did I guess it didn't show much.

Uhhhh if you bought the show you either thought it would be a good fight or you're a Mayweather fan. you're clearly not a Mayweather fan, so you must have thought Baldomir would give him a run for his money. now that Baldomir didn't win a round, you're gonna try to discredit Floyd?

No, i honestly expected the main event to be like it was... i guess i was looking for a better performance from Guerrero is what i'm mostly dissapointed about, that and i got to watch a fighter almost permanently injured thanks in part to Joe Cortez... not something i thought i was paying $50 for..

Mayweather showed tonight that he didn't lose any speed.

I would have said this was a good PPV buy if Paul Williams was fighting a better opponent. It probably would have been a better fight too.
