    Floyd Should Fight Margarito!

Im sick of Oscar acting like he runs boxing. He's obviously going to try to pimp Floyd and Floyd obviously isnt going to let him so this is a moot point. He probally also loss out on some big money and fans with his somewhat boring performance tonight. On the positive side he finally fought a big WW so that should make him feel better going into a Margarito fight even though he didnt get hit.

I think it makes more sense for him to fight Margarito if Arum still puts that money on the table. Floyd will probally make just as much as Oscar will want to give him, the fight will be exciting because Margarito will make it that way, and if Floyd wins then he ends all the hate and silences all the haters. This fight just makes sense to me now. The only problem is that Roger probally wont be ready by time the Margarito fight comes but Floyd still did good tonight without him so he should be fine.

If Floyd takes this fight and wins this fight then he owns boxing after that and no one can ever disrespect him again. I say that he should take it now because after the Baldy fight, Oscar will want to fight him even less because he looked good and Oscar will want to give him even less money because he was boring and didnt sell out the joint

towards the end of this fight, i thought "this would be the exact same thing we would see if floyd fought margarito". margarito's slow, sloppy, not particularly skilled, and his size is the only advantage he has over floyd.

i dont see how a fight with margarito would be any different.

That's what I was thinking exactly. Power guys aren't going to beat Floyd, because like Baldomir most of the bigger guys are slow. Sure you've got the power to knock him out but, can you get him cleanly is the bigger question.

Margarito should fight Williams or Baldomir... PBF has his eyes on a "golden" fight.

Yes... Judah actually won a round and landed a couple punches.. Baldo had an 11% connect percentage... It was more like the Gatti fight... Just not quite as exciting because floyd didnt putting combos together as well... Maybe because he was thinking more defense or the fact that he hurt his right hand...

              Exactly.

Mayweather has also proved that size and strength isn't much of a factor.

It's what I have been saying for awhile now. What you saw tonight would be almost exactly what you would see if Mayweather fought Margarito.

After tonight, there is little to no doubt that Mayweather would put a clinic on Margarito.

Margarito will land less than 15% of his punches, with mayweather moving in and out landing what he wants to.

Margarito might win two-three rounds as opposed to being shut out, like Baldomir was.

dlt, are you the one who is always flip, flooping on wheather floyd should fight Margarito?

Floyd ain't going to get the same money offer from Margarito, because as you so clearly explained, Margarito will make "the" fight. Baldomier would lose to Margarito by tko, Margarito's willingness to get hit is what would make it a decent fight between baldo and margarito.

From the sounds of how the floyd fight went, Margarito doesn't need floyd or i should say, Margarito doesn't need to give up so much against Floyd because people will eventually demand floyd to fight Margarito as is partly happening now.

And i read in another thread how "its not floyds fault the fight was boring, baldomier isn't on floyds level." Well, that more of a case for Floyd to step on the accelerator. Sound like floyd was paccing himself from the descriptions i've been hearing.

And some people still like to give williams more credit then margarito even though they themselves have to admit williams is a bit hyped too, too much.
