    Bad Night For Boxing

for those of you who dont think boxing's dead: just look at what happend tonight and see just how "alive" this sport is.

four titles changed hands, and every big event turned out to be a total waste of time.

lyko turned out to be a flash in the pan, like i said he would, briggs won a title in a john the bum ruiz like fashion, robert guerrero lost his title... so the **** what, and mayweather looked great in a ****ty one sided fight against baldy.

mayweather jabbed, boxed, and countered his way to a boring, anti-climactic (again), and disappointing shut out over carlos baldomir. paul smith is a ****ing moron for giving baldy two rounds. but baldy didnt quit... ok. floyd likes to compare himself to the sugar rays, and ali, and **** like that, but the greats of the past would never take it easy and just be content with decisioning an out-classed opponent. if floyd was as great as he says he is, he woulda gone for the knockout.

this was a terrible night for boxing.

P.S. im never doing another round by round on this ****ing website.

Evil, you know Floyd simply just doesn't have the power to knock out a 147lb fighter like Baldomir. Don't be foolish.

when floyd is THAT fast, and his opponent is THAT tired, floyd should've had no problem getting a TKO on baldy.

Floyd has hand speed not power everyone knows that floyd can only use the tools that he has in his arsenal and GUESS WHAT! Thats Not Power. Considering that Baldy weighed 13 pounds heavier than Floyd, Floyd did Well...

That's what'll always seperate him from fighters like Sugar Ray Leonard. He has too much brains and too little balls.

Floyd doesn't have the power to knock out big ass Baldomir.

He has bad hands why risk it against someone as slow and easy to beat as Baldomir.

Floyd did hurt his hands in the fight BTW. I've seen a picture of him holding it in pain.

              ...But besides all that.
I think Roger's abscence had an effect on him too.

to you brainiacs who say "he doesnt have the power to KO baldy" i say this: you dont need just power to stop someone.
