    How Did Floyd Really Look?

I didnt get to see the fight and I cant tell much from reading the round by round. Half the time it sounds like Floyd looked great in a clinic and half the time it sounds like Floyd easily won but it was a boring fight. I still cant tell if he boxed well or did he kind of run alot. Im dissapointed that he didnt go toe to toe more with Baldy. I know Baldy was big but I thought he would do more of that.

Did he fight scared or show alot of respect? Do you think not having Roger bothered him or made him fight cautious? or am I overreacting and he looked brilliant? Did he outclass Baldy to the point where people start taking credit from Floyd?

How did Floyd do in this fight and did it go how you expected and was it boring. Also, how fast did he look? Did he look faster then he looked in his 1st two 147 pound fights?

Think almost Floyd/Gatti like...only Baldomir at least tried to come forward more...

Steward and Merchan were on his ass for not being ****** and trying to knock the bigger man out...even when Floyd doesn't need to...

they won't give him any credit at all..I guess they think less of Sweet Pea too

I mean to the casual fan it was boring. But, if you really watch boxing closely you can appreciate what he did out there. His reflexes were great, but Baldy is slow anyhow. Overall I expected to see what I actually saw he dodged the hell out of Blady in the corner. Did anyone else like that? Baldy had him in the corner and he kept missing Floyd and hitting the padding in the corner.

His head movement in tight spots was amazing.
At the end of the day, I should've just jacked my **** instead of watching that fight.

Quite honestly, PBF lookd bored. He epitomized "stick and move." Didn't even bother looking for opportunities; they came to him. Baldy would come forward thinking he could walk through the first volley of punches, but only one or two quick pops would come. Floyd made a few mistakes he wouldn't get away with against a faster fighter, though. Namely, getting backed into a corner. A few times he'd just back up and start swaying, fight-night style. Baldy never touched him, unfortunately, but he wouldn't get away with that fighting someone like Williams.

floyd looked great, but the fight looked like the ugliest of ****s. floyd dominated like he said, but he didnt really look "dominant".

His defence made Baldi look amateurish. he could hardly land a glove on him.

It would have been silly to stand toe to toe with a man 1 stone heavier that you when you dont need to.

Calzaghe was given praise for his shtout points win over Lacy so I dont see why PBF should be any different after such a good performance.

reminded me of amateur contests......floyd was just running and countering with his fast as ever hands!!...

of course it was boring, but he did what he had to do to get the win!!...

baldomir couldn't do much more than to just chase floyd around and try and pin him...of course it didn't work!!
