I also had a dream a few nights ago this fight would end in a split decision for Sergei.
LOL at tonight's "fights"

whoa, don't get me wrong. Briggs was absolutely horrendous tonight, but I told my girl when I saw Liakhovich in the ring that something wasn't right about him. he looked a little flabby and a little afraid. now I've only seen him fight a few times, but something seemed shady. I am no fan of Briggs but happy for American heavyweights clawing their way back in. I'd pick Briggs over Maskaev and maybe Valuev but not Wlad. heavyweight boxing is at its lowest point ever, but you have to admit that fight tonight was just funny as hell, especially seeing Briggs suddenly decide he wanted to win in the last 30 seconds and knocking poor Sergei's dumb ass clear out of the ring. I fell off the couch almost in tears not only at how bad the fight was but the ridiculously goofy way it ended. made Rahman-Maskaev look like the greatest fight of all time.Comment

Sergei was afraid. Listen clearly to me, EvilSaint, I picked Sergei to win and rooted for him to win until about the 7th round when I noticed neither guy was fighting. Briggs, I could understand. but Sergei? the young kid that went to war with Brewster for 12 hellacious rounds in the fight of the year? Sergei's plan made no sense. he was NOT outboxing Briggs and he was NOT engaging. rather, Briggs was just biding his time (outrageously long) and plodding along, taking 4-5 punches from Sergei to land 1 or 2 good ones of his own that cancelled them out. Briggs was very much in the fight all night and I thought had the momentum the entire time. THAT in itself is funny. can't believe Liakhovich is that bad though. makes no sense.Comment

sounds like a plan, but I drank myself under the table after Louisville beat West ******ia on Thurs and probably can't afford to get hammered that bad again. besides, I'm all alone now so all I have are you guys for the rest of the night. I want to mock everyone who bought the PPVComment
