PBF and Larry Merchant after fight interview

PBF went overboard but he has a point. Larry seems to aggravate a lot of boxers after their victories, at a time when they want to celebrate, he brings a downer to the party.

I think the straight after the fight interview should be light and celebratory

Now the after fight press conference, when the fighter has had a shower, let their win/loss settle in for a little bit and are a bit more composed, that's when the tougher questions can be asked.

I'm a Floyd fan and I say Larry had a point.
      The question, however, was pointless.
He was clearly asking the question to make Mayweather look bad despite his victory.

          What did Merchant ask?

Also they got no choice but to ask important questions after a fight they dont televise post-fight press conferences.

I couldn't hear the question exactly, but paraphrasing I would think that Larry most likely asked Floyd why didn't he stand in front of him anbd go for the knockout

I mean Larry is always trying to chastise someone after the fight. He never lets them finish what they have to say. I remember a few times he interupted someone when they were thanking god. But, on the otherhand Floyd lost his cool a bit. Then again all he receives is criticism. The fans boo, but what do they expect. For him to mix it up and take unecessary shots. If you watched the fight Floyd gave opportunites for Baldy to hit him by backing up in the corner. Anyway though Merchant talks too much and is at times very disrespectful.

Merchant was asking if Mayweather thought that this fight was entertaining, if the fans got what they want, etc. Mayweather told him to stick to commenting and that Merchant always puts down his and other boxers victories.

He pretty much asked mayweather if he was satisfied with his performance even though fans were booing and leaving by the 10 th round, i think he brought this up because mayweather said that he would make an exciting fight.
