Briggs is so mediocre, that it makes my stomach hurt.

I am not sure; I thought highly of Liakhovich, buy maybe I should revise my opinion.

It is very confusing: Lamon beat Wlad, Sergey beat Lamon, Shannon best Sergey.

Does this make Shannon the best HW?

I thought Briggs fought smart, they expected him to try for a first round ko and then gas instead he saved it for the end.**** if he ko's the great white wolf like that in the first round everybody'd be sucking his nut.Crazy power, he hits like a mule.

I'm so disappointed at Liakhovich for fighting like an idiot in this one. He was up 106-103 on my card in a bad fight, but a fight he would have under his belt as a defense win. Valuev is a better champion than Shannon Briggs and the WBO title is once again a joke. Wonder who King will give Briggs for his first defense? DaVarryl Williamson? lol

the fight was liahkovichs for the taking, he just let briggs have it. this was worse than byrd-oqunedo, with the exception of the final round. i honestly cant believe how bad the title holders are... wlad is the only decent one...

i dont care if it sounds like iam making excuses but brewsters eye was a bigger factor in the liakhovich fight than people like to give credit for..

briggs has insane power. He fought a smart fight... He didn't care how boring it was he had a good strategy and it worked well.

Briggs' stamina is AWEFUL. My god he needs to go to a breathing coach or something. They mentioned he used to have asthema(sp)? Valuev has him by 50 pounds and has 10x better stamina.

Part of me wants to say he fought smart because Sergei was scared of Shannon's power. He got cought with some good shots. Another part of me wants to say that with Briggs' hands so low, all Sergei had to do was jab his way to victory. He was winning before the stoppage after all. Weird fight.
