It doesn't make him British. He is from the British Isles, but not Great Britain.


Derry/Londonderry is very much in Northern Ireland though, so Duddy could certainly fight for the British/Commonwealth titles, as other boxers from the North of Ireland have chosen to do.


Hopefully my use of geographical terms will have avoided upsetting the rabid nationalists and loyalists.
