Calzaghe has not scored a clean KO in ten years.

He last scored a TKO in 1995.

Two of his three most recent fights have been against D-class former middleweights (one of whom is now a light-middle, his entire sM career consisted of a title fight against Joe, in which Joe looked poor).

Explain that KO of Tayor for us please.

Fragile hands and killing himself to make weight have decreased his punching power over the years.

so i was right!! i was expecting taylor to move up in the next year because his frame is much too large for 160. i heard reports from one of an inside guy i know in the business that he is draining and draining and having a lot of trouble sweating down to 160.

anyway, i favor calzaghe to win a pretty clear decision on the cards. fighting tall vs. calzaghe = bad news.

Let us hope, nay, let us prey, that your sources are indeed correct and Joe can finally make the break into the USA that he so rightly deserves. If there is any justice in boxing, now it is time for it to stand up and be counted.

WTF are you talking about? He TKO'd Veit last year.

He may not punch as hard as he once did but he still hits easily as hard as Hopkins does and alot more often. If Hopkins was capable of getting Taylor going at the end of their first fight, there's nothing laughable about Calzaghe stopping him.

Typo, I meant 2005, it was 18 months ago. He has less than five KO's on his record. The rest are guys he cuffed to defeat.

I keep hearing that Hopkins had Taylor 'gone', B-Hop must be one woeful finisher. Or maybe people got carried away.

Joe will call out Jermain when Taylor is beyond 35 and has been Ko'd a few times.

Put whatever take on it you like. I guess you didn't see the fight if you're having to go on what you hear.

Calzaghe will get massive respect from me for calling out a 35+ year old Taylor, he'd be in his 40s. Are you really as clueless as you come accross?

I did see the fight, people said Hopkins beat Taylor up for nine minutes in fight I, he failed to finish him due to the fact B-Hop was putting his head down and runnnig in with right hands, in the process allowing Taylor to clinch (the suposedly 'green' Taylor). Hopkins failed to step back to try and finish his supposedly 'hurt' foe. I can send you the fight and my phone number, you watch and I will explain.

I guess I made a mistake thinknig you would get irony. Calzaghe is intent on fighting faded former stars.

Taking on a 160lb fighter in his first fight at your weight? I guess it beats beating the WBC/WBA title-holder in your division.

I guess you were watching a different fight to everybody else then, if you couldn't see that Taylor was hurt.

Nothing ironic about your previous post, so give me that number of your's and I'll explain irony to you. Correct me if I'm wrong, but JC's been calling out Taylor, amongst others, for a few months now so I see no point of reference for the "calling out a 35 year Taylor" jibe. Or is there a history of him calling out past their prime fighters that nobody else knows about?

Taylor's easily naturally as big as Calzaghe so you're wasting your time with the "beating up on the little guy" line. It's only a matter of time before he can't make 160 anyway. Were you just as negative before Benn v McLellan?

Are you really from Manchester because I've never seen you post a positive word about a UK fighter?
