Was Tua dragging his feet in this fight too? Tua can still be a World Champion in this Heavyweight division, but i don't know if he has the hunger. Imagine him teamed up with Kevin Rooney, that'd be baddass, he'd make Tua work and make him a Champion.

Bull****. He just has to work like a dog in the gym till he's in condition and used to being fast on his feet. But thing is once he gets his opponet cornered then he has to punch, meaning he'd need even more condition. Make Tua fight at a fast past and he gases out. Tua had Byrd ready to go in the last round, after he landed one big shot, but either Tua didn't know this or didn't have the condition to follow up on the shots.

It takes Tua 7 rounds to finish this tomato can? Tua is finished and has been for quite some time.

Agreed. Plus he fights far too infrequently to get in the necessary condition.

Badblood, its a tune-up fight just like Mesi and whoever else is coming back at the moment. If Tua doesn't improve in a couple more fights then maybe I'll accept your position, but right now I'm not ready to write him off. I hope that he gets back into the ring before the end of the year.

He's winning these fights much later than expected, but he's still getting rounds under his belt. I think he deserves a bit more time before we can make a true judgement on his comeback.
