Larry Merchant said, "There is no doubt in my mind that Marco Antonio Barrera is extremely exhausted." -during MAB vs. Morales III

Then Jim Lampley said, "Well you can certainly expect a tired Marco Antonio Barrera to summon the will to keep going."

Larry Merchant on Gatti after Baldomir ko'd him, "Well it wasn't his heart that gave out, it was his body."

I forgot who but a showtime guy said this about Erik Morales, "Hes not the type of fighter to run or who looks for a corner, you know he's not trying to be Mr. Defense he only comes foward to fight, he is there to engage."

I also like that winky wright going to work one.

              Winky vs tito

              Lamply:

Orthadox vs southpaw, right jab vs left hook, tito againts winky.

"Winky trows his hands up as to say do you love me now,? Do you know me now?"

              Larry:
A star puts buts in the seat. That's what a star is we are yet to see if winky can do that.

Larry on strum vs de la hoya

Not much of a fight but these 2 fighters look like they can pass for male models

                Merchant:

"Once upon a time Hopkins was a young lion going after his pray, now he's an old lion just waiting in the bushes hoping someting comes by" - Hopkins vs Taylor I.

I'm not exactly sure if that were the exact words though

Without a DOUBT Larry Merchant is the funniest commentator of all time. The guy is as sharp as a knife when it comes to wisecracks. In fact, I will refer to him as Larry "The Blade" Merchant from here on.

Larry Merchant during Wladimir vs Castillo:
