Until Brewster announces his retirement from the ring or is inactive for two years, he deserves to be listed as he was one of the top 2 fighters before his last match.

Until Chris Byrd actually competes at Cruiserweight, he also deserves to remain listed at heavyweight....especially since he can beat just about anyone in the Top 10 outside of Klitschko.

No problem. I understand how hard it is for you limey's to concentrate with a steady diet of crumpets and all.

i cant say krasniqi doesent deserve it i just think he is done fighting at the world class level and i think his actions as far as turning down fights indicate that to be true... in which case i dont see the point in ranking him since he wont be making any forward progress....

i guess it doesent really matter since outside of the champions, peter, toney, and brock everything else is just a crapshoot until they fight each other.

for my money i like thompson as the best american heavyweight prospect for a title... he is a 6'6 southpaw and he came into the guinn fight in the best shape of his life..... he has a keep-busy fight scheduled for next month then i think he will be looking for that WBO title shot.

id take thompson to beat austin, rahman, brock and god help us, even james toney (simply cause of the physical advantages and style of thompson)

i know im probably too high on him but i was very impressed with him in his last fight. he got stronger as the distance went on and displayed excellent combination punching and accuracy for a heavyweight... i dont think anyone really wants to fight him less they have to. like i said, he landed 42 percent for a 12 round fight, thats pretty damn good against an experienced fighter like guinn.

Well, you've succeeded in arousing my curiosity about Thompson. He's 35 though, so that can't help him in the long run...still, I want to see him now.

This list sucks but I've to admit that it is by far the best one I've seen from JE Grant, how in the hell Brock is #3, Brock should not be in the top 5.

Brewster is the most overrated HW today, the guy got a gift win against the Garbage man from downunder who Rahman stopped within a few rounds. Also he lost to the glass chin Clifford Etiennem Brewster power and chin was always overrated.

Just watch Guinn against Sergie and you will see that Guinn is better then Brewster, also Guinn's chin is much better then Brewster's.
