Cottos a good fighter, he has a lot of talent. But i just don't like some of the things i see him doing in these sparrings. I didn't see no coach while they were sparring either times.

I would know Cotto has a relaxed style but man, i would like to see him move his feet more, as he did in the 2nd sparring. Also, he just follows his sparring partner instead of cutting off the ring, though in the 2nd video he did cut off the ring, thats when he also moved his feet quick.

I want to say he should get better sparring partners, but the first sparring was a tough sparring partner but he was too willing to what Cotto was doing. The 2nd sparring, the smaller guy was probably for speed, and i don't understand him taking off his headgear. I just think Cotto still has a few little things that need to be adjusted, he's got a lot talent you can see it, he can move or box.

Who were Cottos favorite fighters growing up? I see a little bit of Chavez in him when he goes to the body and puts combos together, he looks like great fighter. Also looks like he's going to be a lot stronger at 147. Quintanna will give him some problems with his movement, but when Cotto decides to cut off the ring or just from the pressure, Quintanna will not have his legs if he keeps boxing away from Cotto. I see a late tko for Cotto.

Cotto smells pretty good for a Puerto Rican fighter...one of the first things you notice whenever you sit ringside for a fight is how bad they usually smell.

Cotto is the exception to the rule and for that I love him!

Here's to the collision course that is...

        Cotto v. Cintron!

That doesn't sound like he used to watch Gomez growing up. Im interested in who he used to watch box as a kid.

Wilfredo Gomez was a great fighter, he has sneaky fast right hand, he was a killer in the ring.

Just remember, he's one full month away from the fight, he sparred 8 rounds, I heard he's been runnig like a mad man and his power is ALL there, I mean you should've listened to this shots, they were LOUD. You could also tell the effect in his partners. Once he starts losing weight they'll concentrate more on his speed. He took his head gear off to get his face used to getting hit and not swell up as much or get cut easily.

He didn't grew up with a favorite boxer because he has stated, that he's not much of a boxing fan, he doen't watch it on TV and never has(yeah, it's real wierd for an athlete not to follow his sport). He just took boxing to lose weight as a kid and since he was good at it, he sticked with it.
