While this would be a HUGE upset... it won't rival Tyson-Douglas. The odds on that were like 40-1 and the odds on Mayweather-Baldomir are like 8-1 if the hedges mean anything. Also at the time, Tyson was regarded as invincible and was the undisputed HW champion of the world (he held all the belts)...nobody even believed there was a worthy challenger. Here while nobody in their right mind is picking Baldomir to win, a lot of boxing writers and enthusiasts give him a decent shot to win. If Baldomir can replicate his performance of the later rounds against Judah then he has a legitimate chance. Mayweather also basically has 0 chance to KO him and end the fight quickly (with Tyson it was more than likely). Hence the longer the fight goes, the better the chance Baldomir can land one lucky punch for the KO. All this being said it would be an upset of epic proportions. I just hope for an entertaining and competitive fight.

ok first of all a guy with 13 ko's in 43 victories in 13 years of figthing doesnt have too much of a chance of KO'ing floyd..

he has a chance of stopping him though or outpointing him... a slim but still a chance

thats what i said when baldy fought gatti. and look what happend there. floyd is smaller than baldy like gatti was, a KO isnt out of the question here.

Floyd and Gatti do NOT have the same chin or defensive skills, so it's ****** as **** to assume that since he KO'd Gatti he could KO Floyd.

i was referring to the size difference. baldy is much bigger than both of them and is much stronger than both of them.

dont get ur panties in a twist over this, jeez.

And what I was referring to was the fact that Floyd can dodge and evade punches better than any other boxer out there, and if he does get hit, he takes it much better than Gatti, so the comparison is not valid.

I doubt Floyd will let slow Baldomir hit him cleanly. Baldomir ain't gonna be able to do it with one punch.

I see Floyd brawling with baldy and win every round until ref stops it.

id love to see baldy win but it would be horrible for boxing, to have a fighter that looks like he could be a future hall of famer get exposed by an underdog such as baldy.
