he also didn't say whether margo is on his way up or not. he talked more about Bob Arum. That goes to show you that Bob is a major reason why the fight hasn't happened. I'm starting to wonder why His ex-fighters don't want too much to do with him once they leave him.

I'm not sure what everybody's issue with these comments are. People have already addressed all the relevant issues. We know PBF is an egomaniac and we know he is very into self-promotion. So it comes as no shock to me that he basically insulted everybody that he hasn't fought and given praise to those that he has fought. It basically mimics his patterns of pre and post fight talk. Remember before the Gatti fight, Mayweather called him a bum, C+ fighter etc. but after the fight Floyd said he respected Gatti as a tough champion etc. My point is this is typical Floyd get used to it.

True i agree with that. but he hasn't fought Margo and he didn't give an opinion on him either which is strange to me. He spoke more to Bob, don't you think that's a lil weird. by the way, where you been?

I've just had crazy amounts of work between my part-time job and law school so I only get to make the occassional post now. But yeah I do agree it was weird he refrained from comment on Margarito. But in a certain sense I think that Floyd wants to pave the road for a fight with him down the line. If he disses him too much then the fight loses some of its appeal. We'll see.

Your going to be a lawyer, that's great...I guess you come to the forums to hone your argumentative skills. Good luck with school!

He refrained because i honestly think hes nobody to floyd other than someone arum uses to paint a bad picture of him, i seriously dont think he gives a ****. i can just tell the way he handles the question everytime, if he cared, hed talk about what hed do to him and this and that, but he doesnt say much of anything because i think he knows why margaritos name is even being mentioned in the first place. all of the names deserve mention EXCEPT him IMO.

That maybe the case, but it seems he would have gave a short answer like he did with Paul Williams, if he felt like he was nobody. The fact that he went into detail about Bob Arum and his professional says a lil something. i think there is something that went on behind closed doors between them. the reporter asked about Margarito and he talked only about Bob Arum, what is that really about?

Business-wise, if he's my fighter, I pick and choose, and milk him, get as much money as I can, until he's all used up.
That actually tells you less about Hatton than it does about Floyd himself.

                      lol.

I'm a Floyd fan and everything, but did anyone else find it hilarious how he said "up" for all the people he beat, and "down for everyone else?
