I see him haveing a good chance againts taylor and kessler I think winkys style would be the downfall of joe. Maybe that's why he wasn't mentioned?,

Joe has said before he would fight Winky.



If this bout comes off and Joe beats him, which is entirely possible, it'll just be a boxrec trick writ large, the sort of thing that Hopkins, for example, was doing. (Hey, get your "career defining" fight against a tiny Mexican who no one gave a chance of winning anyway? Then fight Tarver, which was impressive, but he was never really that good).

Taylor is the greenest champion out there today, and was gifted in at least one of his last three fights, possibly all of them. But if Joe beats him, he beats the man who beat Hopkins, and the man who "drew" with Wright. It's all bull**** really.

Why shouldn't his opponents travel to him sometimes when he's the champ? (even if they're champs too). Joe travelling to the States is just the same thing.

Blow has only fought outside UK twice in his career, Calzaghe and Taylor both are the undisputed unified champs in there divisions (Although blow needs to fight kessler to be called that because kessler has two belts too)
Taylor is a big middleweight and i can see him fighting calzaghe, people should quit talking about how Joe is picking on smaller opponents because taylor is big, but the thing is the fight should happen in USA (Joe will earn more money in USA, and will gain American fans if he does that, and most people already know how Taylor is) Calzaghe fighting on HBO would be good, Taylor vs Calzaghe would be a huge ppv fight in USA, could earn them both good money

But other than the money issue, how would it be any different?

It's funny, I hear a lot on here that "they need to come to the States", and one time that had some validity. But the US's hold on boxing is tenuous at best right now. All it takes is one O'Neil Bell loss (who's really a Jamoc anyway) and the US loses everything from heavyweight all the way down to Middleweight. (Hopkins has retired)Taylor is green, no one really gives a **** about Light Middle anyway... no wonder Floyd is so popular.

Maybe people should really, in the current climate, be asking why don't US fighters come to Europe to fight? Taylor has never left US soil for a pro bout.

Why does everyone believe Winkys are harder bout than Taylor i think Calzaghe would beat winky pretty easy over 12 rounds Winky in my minds a true light middleweight calzaghe could easily move upto light -heavy pretty easy i cant see winky coping with calzaghes presure and speed all nite while taylors alot stronger and i believe he could keep calzaghe off with his great jab saying tht my money would still be on calzaghe, CALZAGHE would beat all these guys out their HOPKINS,taylor,winky,kessler,adamek all these guys he would beat i wish he would just sort his head out and the managment and get these fights DONE!

JC has business to take care of in the S.Middle division. He needs to focus on getting a Kessler fight because it's a fight that alot of people want to see. And two that fight is for history; to be an undisputed champ. It's the fight that makes the most sense right now.
