Dear BT!! I just read BTALK interview with Travis Simms. Is that kid delusional? Crazy? Does he really have delusions of grandeur like he appears to have? I read a couple interview with him and it seems like he is living in a fantasy world, pretending that he is a big time fighter. In reality he is almost invisible. I read his interviews (he's done about 3 in the last two years on the net) and he always comes across like he sees himself as some kind of boxing star. I find it odd, that's all and was wondering what you thought of this. He was stripped of his WBA (regular) title for refusing to fight a rematch with the guy he knocked out on the break (Garcia) and now he is on the BT site trying to make people think he was stripped of the title "because the WBA didn't want to enforce my mandatory with the winner of Mosely and Wright."
If that was even true it would stand to reason that it would be because nobody on earth other than Simms would want to even see him fight the winner. People across the world would be saying "who is this Simms guy that Winky is fighting?" The real deal, EVERYBODY KNOWS THIS, is that they stripped him because he refused to fight Garcia. That is common knowledge. Have you dealt with Simms before and is he as delusional as he seems?

BT: We have known about Simms for a while now as he is a New York based fighter. Not a bad fighter, really. Not exactly top world class but a solid all around guy. Has been inactive and never really made a name for himself like he hoped so in a way you are right about his kind of delusional view of himself. While he isn't well known and doesn't have a name in the game he isn't a bad boxer. Probably past his prime now but he's not too bad.
