Who will be #1 at 147?

A couple of years ago, 147 was a dull division and the only name was Ricardo Mayorga and you could say that Antonio Margarito. Now, the division has been turned upside down. Mayweather, Margarito, Baldomir, Cintron, and Cotto. Out of this group, who do you think will end up #1 after all is said and done and, better yet, who will rule the division for the next 2 or 3 years? I don't think that Mayweather will stay at 147. Baldomir must first pull off the upset to be the main guy. Cotto is testing waters so no one knows and Cintron is young and talented, but too big. He might have to go to 154 soon. That leaves Margarito as, perhaps, the top guy at 147. Thoughts?

I remember when Ricardo Mayorga hit the 147 and ruled by force. Has anybody heard about him ? I havent seen a word about him sence the DLH fight. Anyway i hope he comes back.

Mayweather will be #1 as long as he stays, i hope he does. moving up another weight class will be nothing but bad for him. If he ever loses it will be at 154 or maybe in a few years even 160.

The future at 147 will be between Williams, Cotto and Quintana (and possibly Collazo).

Margarito kind of reminds me of a more stand-up Pipino Cuevas; a good fighter with above average power, but with enough skill deficiencies that he should be able to be outpointed or stopped by a more skilled opponent with good defense and a good chin.

Baldomir, I don't think will reign supreme, though I do give him a better than average shot at beating Mayweather.

Cintron, no, I do believe he will move up.

Cotto, maybe; but his chin is too glassy for him to ever control the division, provided he fights good opposistion with decent power.

If they all actually fight each other, which is apparently unlikely as every one of them besides Baldomir is taking the least chances possible, then I'd have to favour Mayweather based on his overall skill.

....then again, there's Paul Williams. Hmmm.

its still a dull division and all of those fighters have flaws. obviously mayweather and margarito are the best , we really dont know whos better till they fight which will never hapen ...but i know for a fact baldomir has a better chin and is tougher then mayweather hes also better techincally then mayweather but not as athletic or young..
