Thanks, my corner was telling me keep those hands up but my dad was screaming stick that jab out so he can't get inside, it was very hard to hit this kid cleanly because he was so expirienced.

I doubt that was a real fight, more like a public sparring kinda thing? Those gloves definitely aren't legal for amateur boxing, and headgear is required, for a real sanctioned bout.

Edit: Also, the scoring implies that they used the pro scoring system with 10 point rounds. That's not used in the amateurs, and back when they had round by round scores in the amateurs, it was 20 point rounds.
