Does Badomir really have a chance?

This fight is coming up pretty quickly now. I'm excited for this fight, but IMO I think the obvious winner is Mayweather. How can you go against him? Mayweather is in his prime and is one of the pound for pound best right now. If not, THE best.

I feel Baldomir may cause some problems for Mayweather. But nothing he can't handle. I feel Baldomir will be the aggressor. He can take a good shot and has alot of heart. He will make the fight interesting

But IMO there will be four things that will overcome Baldomir...Mayweather defense, speed, counter-punching, and ring intelligence. Mayweather is the best and I feel those four things will be key factors in this fight....

Thoughts?( I know I accidentally misspelled Baldomir name in my title, sorry)

Agreed 100%, great post, I just want to see how well PBF can hold his own against naturally bigger opponents, if he dismantles Baldomir as easily as I expect(or easier) then I'll know he could hold his own at 154.

Personally, I'm not sure if Baldomir has a shot here. He's certainly big enough, he has a massive size advantage over Mayweather. Other than that, he's painfully slow, he's not a sharp puncher, he's not the kind of guy who is going to have a masterful fight plan in order to beat a virtuoso like Floyd Mayweather.

What he is though is confident, and that can take a fighter further than his talent alone. He's a very confident fighter, he believes in himself and his prospects against Mayweather.

He's also very tough, which would be of much greater benefit if he was fighting a puncher who could be discouraged by Baldomir's chin. Instead he's fighting a disciplined virtuouso who doesn't care if he has to go the distance.

It's going to be tough for Baldomir to pull the upset off.

i think the only way floyd is gonna lose is if he shatters both his hands from hitting baldy too many times.

If Floyd absolutely dominates Baldomir like I think he will, there will leave absolutely no doubt in my mind that Margarito would suffer a familiar fate if they ever meet.

I think you have a point there, in the first Castillo fight his brittle hands betrayed him at the most inopportune time possible, against a blood-hungry stalker who was going to walk him down throwing vicious shots to the body all night. Baldomir is the wrong guy to break your hands against.

of course baldy has a chance but how big can this chance be in reality?
he lost at least 5 of the first 6 against judah and then judahs game fell apart and baldy capitilised , mayweathers plan aint gonna fall apaort so if mayweather dont mistake himself as a ****er he should pull a lop sided ud

baldomir pulled off the two biggest upsets of the year and both times people said that he had no chance. i think baldomir has a chance against floyd. like castillo, baldy has the style that could crowd floyd and give him some serious problems.

im ready for anything to happen in this match.
