I think the reason this thread was made was so pacquioa fans can be assured that Morales will brawl with pacuiqoa, they know Morales can out box pacuqioa if he wanted too for 12 rounds.
Morales may not engage on Nov 18

Erik Morales is considered by the sport as one of the toughest in the sport.
But even the most heralded of all athletes needs to be smart and should know his limitations. By knowing your capability, you aim to determine up to what extent your performance is, the gauge what type of plan to do to defeat your opponent.
According to Erik himself, he tired himself up thats why he lost to Pacquiao. Strength and speed are what sets Manny Pacquiao from the rest of the league, and in no means would Erik win on these categories.
The only good way for him to win is to box and run. Style-wise, Erik have got what it takes to do these. He shouldnt be foolish in trying to engage with Pacquiao and run the risk of losing again.
Morales fans, including me, would feel very disappointed if he does this, but I would certainly understand if he ever avoids the confrontation. There was an article of him denying this, but in truth he could just be lying. Morales needs this win badly.
cant wait for the day of reckoning!!!

from ESB:
Freddie Roach: "That was no weigh-in, it was a Weight Watchers meeting"
erik moralesHOLLYWOOD, CA (October 29, 2006) -- World-famous FREDDIE ROACH, trainer of MANNY PACQUIAO, couldn't resist commenting on the World Boxing Council-sanctioned 30-day weigh-in Pacquiao and his opponent Erik Morales successfully completed recently. In front of a massive public audience in Mexico City, Morales tipped the scale at 142 lbs. Pacquiao weighed in at 138.75 lbs at Roach's Wild Card Gym in front of the Pacquiao camp and a WBC-appointed supervisor.
"My goodness. I have never seen so many people surround one man to make sure he eats so little," said Roach comparing his old school training group against Morales' team of certified experts in all the various disciplines from Velocity Sports Performance Center. "That was no weigh-in, it was a Weight Watchers meeting," continued Roach with tongue planted firmly in cheek. "I don't know what Velocity has on his menu, but I guarantee you on November 18, Manny will be serving Erik a steady diet of Reyes leather all night long until he can eat no more."
that was some bad-ass comments.

I dont understand how such a decent humble guy like PAC could be involved with a LOUD mouth like Roach.. ROACH is a decent trainer.. But with the way he talks you would think it was HIM getting in the ring.. AND in his prime as fighter(if he even had a prime).. He couldn't have even Hung with someone like Morales.. You would also think being a former fighter he would have some respect for those OBVIOUSLY better at the craft than he was.. IS he jealous? he needs to shut up and Train his man.. and leave the smack talk to the fighters.. JMHOfrom ESB:

It's been said already but I can't help but echo it. Regardless of Erik's gameplan, he WILL go toe to toe with Pacquiao at some point in the fight. If he employs a strategy like Marco Antonio did in the second fight with Rocky Juarez he could easily win this by sticking and moving.
But I doubt that will happen for the entire fight. Once Pacquiao lands a solid shot on Morales and hurts him, Morales' ego will get the better of him and he'll want a brawl. He's ALWAYS done this, Morales is most dangerous when hurt and if ANYBODY can hurt him, it's Pacquiao. I see Morales taking the lead early, leading on all judge's scorecards into the 6th.
From there I see a slugfest occuring later in the fight, Morales will get caught, want to trade, and pay for it. I see Pacquiao winning by knockout by the 10th.Comment
