HBO giving Baldy too much of a chance...

How many of you guys saw the Countdown to Mayweather-Baldy? At the end of it the amount of **** they spoke of when saying Baldy's chance was sickening. Purely for PPV hype and to pretend Baldy has a chance, though it sounded downright ****** at times. They are talking about his size, well Mayweather ain't ****** here. You don't think he's been sparring with larger opponents? Then they talk about Baldy's strength. He's got 10 KOs outta like 43 wins or something. The most he got is weight strength, no pure KO power. Muchless, Gatti was a small guy and looked small. If Mayweather fills out the 147 nicely, he won't have a problem against Baldy. It's just so lame the amount of crap HBO goes through to hype up their PPVs when they love to charge for mismatches, yet I'm not saying this can be one. Baldy does have a style that COULD beat Mayweather though I don't think he'll use it effectively enough. I'd say he has a 15% chance at beating Floyd.

Oh yeah I'd like to add, during the Countdown show, anyone else see Baldy looking like he's never done a situp in his life? I thought that was real funny. The pain he showed and hard time he had trying to do it was so funny.

Ah, it's normal for HBO's "Countdown" series. They always do their best to hype **** up more and more so that more people buy their Pay-Per-Views.

I myself am not ordering this fight, because I'm not really excited about this fight. I know Floyd will win....

My predicition: Mayweather completely dismantles Baldomir and takes his title. Baldomir lives off the money he gets from the fight until he no longer can and eventually goes back to selling feather dusters on the streets of Argentina......

dude, of course hbo is going to hype their ppv!

and this is boxing - i think everybody has a chance. some, just a little less than others.

while on this topic, i hope none of you guys buy this worthless ppv card. send a message to the suites at hbo and let 'em know that we want a real goddamn card if they want us to pay more than we already do to watch boxing. pbf/baldomir shopuld be on regular hbo. i, for one, am not going to help stuff maywaether's pockets by buying this ****. that said, hope baldomir shocks the world.

I'd love to see Baldomir shock the world again. I think Floyd just needs a ****ing lesson to learn somewhere along the lines. Yeah, I'd like to see it come by someone OTHER than Baldomir but I really stopped caring a long time ago as to WHO does it.

I respect Floyd's talents and everything but he just gets on my ****ing nerves. I still think Floyd's gonna win.

good point on the outcome of the fight, but you don't think the cards even decent?

I'm getting it, cause you're also seeing Robert Guerrero and Paul Williams in their respected fights, worth it to me....

They're just trying to sell the fight. HBO knows he's going to be absolutely dominated on Saturday night, but Mayweather has a PPV slot and they have to get you to buy it. There is no way in hell I would pay any amount of money to watch this fight.
