Marcus Beyer regained the WBC super middleweight title with a sixth round KO over Cristian Sanavia Saturday night in Erfurt, Germany. Through the first five rounds, Sanavia was winning the fight, however, Beyer ended matters spectacularly in the sixth with a crushing left-right-left combination to the chin. This is the third time Beyer has held the WBC 168lb title. The 33-year-old improves to 30-2 with 12 KOs and becomes the first ever German boxer to win a world title three times. After the fight, Sanavia told ********* he "relaxed" a bit in round six and never saw the Beyer's big left hook. He plans to return to middleweight.

It's sad that he LOST to Sanavia in the first place.....though not suprising considering he needed home cooking for the wins over Green and Lucas.
