      Come on Joe....

So now he plays the fame card to avoid Kessler.. I don´t belive he thinks he could win it to be honest.

If he was to beat Kessler, unify the division, then he would be able to call all the shots - he could fight whoever he wanted.

If he thought he was going to beat Kessler, he would be mad not to do it.

Looks like he is just plain chicken.

It seems that JC thinks Kessler can beat him. That's good enough for me. Kessler can now be considered the #1 SMW in the world

Thats just ******. Kessler is the second best Supermiddleweight, and will be until he beats Joe Calzaghe or Joe Calzaghe moves up or retires.

            It's as simple as that.

Beyer was nothing, he just proved to the fans that he wasn't a flop, he was predicted by 90% of the fans to KO him, and he did.

            Superchamp? My ass.

Ok,let us see.I have just read perhaps the fight between Kessler and Calzaghe will take place in Feb

JOE CALZAGHE'S dream of a big fight in the US have been hit by the news his next bout will NOT take place across the pond.

The Newbridge southpaw will have to wait until next June before getting a crack at the States after Frank Warren declared his next bout, scheduled for February, won't be the career-defining fight he's looking for. Calzaghe's next action looks like being a unification fight against Dane Mikkel Kessler

Cal don't want Kess. Not the other way around. period. I think the funniest thing ever would be IF Ouma could beat taylor and then HBO is sitting around paying for ****ty Frank Warren fights. Even Showtime quit showing his whack cards. Look for the second crappy Cal fight in February; probably his IBF mado. At least Kessler has a mando with a real badass. Oh, and here's Cal on how much he doesn't want to fight Kess:

JC: I've heard I'll be fighting the Dane Mikkel Kessler to unify the division in February in Europe, but I'm not interested in him - he doesn't mean anything to America.

Kessler needs that fight more than I do. You won't tempt Bernard Hopkins to fight me.

The great man, like a number of so-called big names in America, has always got a handy excuse not to fight me. I hope Winky Wright or Jermain Taylor will move up a division from middleweight because they're good fighters - but they're both fighting in December and the February date Frank has been given by HBO could be too soon, unfortunately. But I'd take any big name.

Looking at the above, can't we say the same Cal is saying about Cal going ten years and only fighting one unification fight and somehow managing not to fight a two-belt co-titlist on two seperate occasions?
