I'd be ignorant to say Julio sucks. Yeah i was rooting for Rivera but somehow while Rivera was dominating i was rooting for Julio the underdog. But Julio had his moments.
My opinion is that Julio is very, vey raw. He does a some things wrong and he reminds me of a few boxers who don't know wheather to box or too brawl. A good trainer would make Julio a better fighter he still needs to learn things in the ring or he hasn't descided what type of style works for him cause he looked unsure of himself in their at times. Teach him how to cut off the ring. Use a jab, cause at one point in the fight he found his jab and boxed and looked imppressive but then went back to not throwing the jab, of course he was very tired too. Also he needs to either be boxer or a brawler or somwhere in between and if he's going to be a brawler he has to be willing to get hit and/or get better defence without wasting his energy by backing away from shots but use his defence use his hands to block and to bob and weave and slip punchs. If you seen the fight you can tell Rivera is a Veteran of some skilled abilities, sure he doesn't look pretty in their but he knows what to do, i've only seen recently James Toney slip punchs the way Rivera was doing by turning his head Rivera would slip mean right hands and thats not easy to do.
All in all, a boxer will still give Julio tons of problems, Rivera was boxing him for a bit and he was out boxing Julio for that duration that he was boxing. I think Julio has tons of talent just needs someone to really get tough on him and tell him you're going to do this and that. Also imo his sparring is not up to the task, i think he's probably not getting the right sparring. If Julio doesn't do somthing about his fighting style, he is going to get into problems again.
And styles make fights, Judah was probably scared ****less, -well not scared ****less-, so he goes out and uses that energy and fights as if he's in the last round of a do or die fight -when he fougth Rivera. Im sure Judah was awhere of what Rivera could do so that shook him a bit but at the same time, convinced him to perform as he did against Rivera, with that said, styles make fights.
