You can hope but it won't happen.

6 pounds in 7 days seems so ridiculous. Why do fighters do this? It just seems to me, but of course I don't know, that it would be better to get to the weight first and then get in shape from that point on. I respect guys like Floyd and Hopkins who stay in shape all the time way more than anybody else in this sport because they do their ****in job.

its very hard to stay in great shape constantly. like me im in excellent shape but i still have to come down in weight because of my height which is me losing 20 pounds

i suppose leaving some wieght to lose in your final week keeps the motivation there to train harder for the fight.

I honestly hope mayweather loses this soo bad. Carlos deserves this soo much. and i hope when mayweather loses it shuts up all the fans.

even if carlos losses i know he would have dropped PBF and have taken the fight to him. mayweather is a super feather weight, going up against a welterweight.

              you do the maths

i read somewhere that Baldomir doesn't eat for 3 days prior to the fight or weigh -in? becuz that gives him that mental edge...or that "mood" to go out and kill his opponents...whatever works I guess....but 3 days??...talk about torturing n killing urself...

It's not even about getting in shape. It's about these guys basically starving themselves to have a size advantage come fight time. Welterweight is full of guys who should be fighting at 154...
