Yup, on Telemundo. I'm gonna be ringside and I'm looking forward to see if he's changed his style any now that he is with McGirt. I think it will be a good fight, cuz Rivera likes to exchange as well.

He was with McGirt last fight with Quintana and even in the 12th round needing a KO McGirt was telling Julio to just use his jab. McGirt is a terrible cornerman.

Rivera is a solid test. If Julio struggles, he's more suspect than prospect...

lol..sorry. It's a spanish language station, here in the States. They dont have streaming.

I forgot that McGirt was in his corner last fight. McGirt has had a bad string lately, but I dunno if he's such a bad trainer. But I agree that this will prove once and for all if Julio is the real thing. I've always liked him, but admit that he is too one dimensional.

You can have Steward, McGirt and Gil Clancy in your corner, but it might not help you. At the end of the day, a fighter has to want to fight. If it's not in him to follow instructions to the t, there isn't much you can do about that.

Yeah but I'd rather have Steward rather than McGirt any ****ing day of the week.

They both suck. Id rather have Goosen. McGirt is so overrated. He got credit for Gatti but Gatti didnt even look that good even when he was winning with McGirt. Almost every other guy McGirt has had has ******. Tarver was the only good one and he just got alot of credit because RJ was washed up & the weight killed him. He was in his corner for the Hopkins shutout.

Steward only gets guys who are already on the top so it looks like he has a bunch of champs. There already champs before he gets them and none of them look better with him. All his fighters have boring styles, hold alot, and never reach there full potential.

Goosen is my man. Chico looked bad last fight but I think the weight killed him. I love it how he was in Casamayor's corner in the 1st fight and he won, then in the 2nd fight he was in Chico's corner & Mcgirt was in Casamayor's corner and both fighters looked totally different. Chico was a much better fighter while McGirt gave Casamayor a super ****** game plan. He couldve beat Chico the 2nd time with Goosen in his corner.
