JC was a great fighter at 130 too, he beat the very tough Mario Martinez to win his first title and Martinez was the known fighter. I looked up his record the other week or two and Martinez i belive got a draw or a very close decicion with Nelson and dropped him and fought him again in a rematch. He droped Fenech and lost a very close decicion and so on, Martinez lost to Chavez but his career as a top contender resumed. Chavez was a bad man even then.

Nelson was great fighter no doubt, i know that he and Chavez had the same trainer "El Buffolo" and man i wish somone would talk about the sparrings that Nelson and Chavez probably had. Im sure that their trainer, had them sparr a few times and i bet those sparring weren't nothing nice. And i would love to hear Nelson talk about Salvador Sanchez and Chavez and talk about how the relate or don't relate. That would be on hell of an interview.
