i put this exact thread up, a few days ago....Finito would win. A excellent boxer, big puncher, great overall fighter. Not too take anything away from Calderon, but Finito was the man!

How could you not pick Lopez to win against anybody? He's an all-time great.
      Period.

A few times a week I like to mount my wife and when Im not on top of my game so to speak I end up blowing my load a little to quick.

This thread like myself as my wife can attest is a bit premature, Finito vs. Calderon...you cant even begin to discuss it!

How was Finito underrated? He was the man, that's it. I saw a few of his fights but never saw him against a slick south paw that threw combinations on the move. Finito was a good boxer, but slick south paws have a gift of throwing people off, remember Oscar vs Sweet P (washed up)? The obvious choice would be to root for Finito and yes Ivan is somehow unproven but there's a good reason other champs don't want any part of him.

I didn't see the young Lopez i was aware of him in the mid 90's and fights i've seen the guy can do it all and has power to back it up. In the only fight i've seen of Caldron he struggled against a Mexican brawler, the crowd actually booed Caldron. Lopez fought and beat all styles, besides the fact that Finito could do it all.

Calderon is definitely not a crowd pleaser, I guess you saw the fight against Verde, where Ivan took him a bit lightly and the fight turned out to be closer than usual. But he has a way of frustrating his opponents. he doesn't allow punchers to plant their feet and get off. Then again, one of those long right hands from Finito if landed properly could do some damage, but Calderon so far has shown a good chin.

Its just way to early to even trying to match these two.

Has Caldron been fighting in Asian Countries?

I know Finito was loved in the Asian countries, he fought many times their and usally Mexican fighters get love from Asian countries when they go fight over there. I assume, since Caldron is in the lighter weight he's been fighting over their, cause i've only seen one of his fights, i think the fight was on the undercard of Morales v. Famouso Hernandez.

No he hasn't, I think because of his lack of power, he feels he could get robbed or something. Rachman's promoter wanted to unify and fight in the States, but then the second promoter dropped the fight.
