Juan Urango vs Ricky Hatton - Your Thoughts?

I just watched Juan Urango knock out Andre Eason on TV - INHD. He knocked him down three times, the third time was essentially the charm. Devastating. I did recognize Andre Eason, looked him up to find out that he was on the Contender 2, losing to Walter Wright.

Anyways, Urango looked pretty impressive, solid fighter. His defense was good, kept his hands up near his face the whole time. He moved his head well, pushed the fight and had great power.

Seeing this, I got to thinking about the future showdown with Ricky Hatton. This is not going to be an easy fight for Hatton. Though Urango has less fights than Hatton, he is hungrier and has more to gain. They both are similar in that they are brawlers. What are your thoughts?

I never count out Urango because of his streaghth. THat guy is very musclur.

Hatton is an infighter unlike Rabah, who was robbed in the fight, is an outboxer and a smart one too.

too bad his for Rabah it spoiled his undeafted streak

Yeh i watched that fight the other day too,he looked pretty good, moving his head alot like Pacman but did u see his last fight? He got outboxed and should have lost,i dont know how good Urango really is because Andre Eason is nothing good,he got ***ed up on The Contender,i think Hatton picked a easy fight,if he loses it will all blow up in his face,i doubt he will lose tho

MY THOUGHTS are.. Urango is tough and not entirely unskilled.. BUT he was gifted in the Rabah fight.. and I would predict a Hatton victory.. Reason being Hatton is tougher and more skilled..

            Style makes fight.

Hatton need to inside-outside to win and he really need to work on his defense because Urango could punch.

joke of a fight. I'll be very unimpressed if Urango makes it past 8 rounds. Hatton waited 8 months to fight THIS guy?

i wouldnt say urango is hungrier or has more 2 gain, cause if hatton loses, the fights with castillo and mayweather are down the drain,if he lost he would **** everythin up for himself he wouldnt get any big name fights for a while,so i expect hatton on top of his game and in good shape

It's a real good fight, thank **** Urango got the decision because nobody wants to see the negative boxing of Rabah.. let Hatton and Urango tangle in ring centre and Hatton show the American's why he's the most exciting fighter since Nigel Benn.
