I dont think there is anyway that Brock can beat Klitschko, fighting inside would be his only chance but Klitschko is to smart for that and will do everything he can to keep the fight on the outside where he has the advantage.
How can Brock beat Klitschko?

i dont really know the size differential here, but im assuming klit is much bigger. id be very surprised if brock lands many left hooks unless he can slow klit down with a good body attack earlyComment

Klitschko is a B-class fighter and he has been beaten by C-class opponents.
On the face of it Klitschko is the best of a bad lot, but he is vulnerable to an opponent who does his homework and comes to fight. Quite honestly I am not sure that Brock is the man to topple Klitschko although it is well within his ability to do so. I saw him struggle against McCline, but most of that struggle was unnecessary. Brock made it difficult for himself. McCline can't deal with lateral head movement that is why Bryd hit him so easily. Klitschko now likes to play huggy-bear, apparently he thinks the John Ruiz style is a good way to fight. Ok, what is Brock going to do about it? He should be learning how to time an uppercut. But what he is probably going to do is snivel and whine about it after he loses the fight.Comment

For brock to beat Wlad he'd have to carry the tempo, get on the inside stay in his chest to smother wlads punches and make him fight a fast fight. Wlad would eventually tire out and and Brock coulda capitalize by teeing off at will at a tired and slow klit.
Is that gonna happen, highly unlikely but thats what i think he needs to do.Comment

the best HW in the world... bla... bla...
there is no way brock is going to beat wlad... bla...bla...
I am sure we heard similar tunes before Purrity, Sanders and Brewster.
the sad thing is wlad, with his 3 KO losses, most likely IS the best HW in this sad divisionComment

well,,,,some people forget he has 46 wins with those 3 losses. there's been a hell of a lot worse records for championsComment

Im sorry but Wladimir is NOT a B class fighter, period.
However, your're right in the sense that NOBODY is a perfect fighter. Maybe Wladimir has those flaws, and maybe Brock can use those to his advantage. The only guy to beat or trouble Wladimir a lot without just relentlessly driving foward was Sanders. Whatever it was, he found something flawed, not quite sure, but he was able to land that left easily.Comment

Couldn't agree more, Derranged. Every fighter out there has faults- so does Klitschko. Does that make him a B level fighter! Not at all! He has some major flaws, but you are completely failing to recognize his strengths in a fashion that makes you seem biased against him. You present yourself well, that you know boxing, but if you do remember- just because a fighter has flaws does NOT mean its easy for his opponent to exploit them. You need to take into account what he does well. You have analyzed Kiltschko...now analyze Brock and his flaws. Too methodical, plodding, slow. Needs to get set to punch, etc. Take a look at his weaknesses, match them against his opponents strengths- then you have a predictor of what will happen.
Kilitschko has major flaws- but is an offensive maniac with the way he can put together his punches in his rythmn. Brock, on the other hand, for all his sound technical skill doesn't seem to possess what it takes to use any flaws you have mentioned against the big guy.
KO Klitschko.Comment
