Yet after absorbing shockwaves from Danny's chin, Vitali's entire body began to break down and he needed multiple operations. Eventually it transpired that those shockwaves were too much and he would never fight again after facing Danny "Humdilla" Williams.

.....You see that alot with Wlad. People will bring up someone who they think will beat him but as soon as he signs to fight that individual, alot of that stuff disapears pretty quickly.
