First, WTF does WBC have anything to do with this fight? The fact that WBC wants to collect a sanctioning fee for a garbage WBC International title is ridiculous.

Second, who the hell does Pac think he is weighing in with shirt and shoes? He ain't Roy Jones Jr.(see RJJ weigh-in for the Ruiz fight).

because the catchweight offer didn't give any extra money to Pac. This way, if Morales weighs 132, Paquiao gets an extra $1 000 000. It is a huge sum of money, half a million per pound. The regular fines for coming in overweight are usually a lot less.

Because they want every advantage he can get especially if it might cause a drained Morales.

                some people proly dont understand.

PAC will fight MORALES even if EM is @132.....that will cost him $1M though.

Thats a fair leverage for 1M IMO. considering that EM is so overwhelmed in between fights that he gain 'LOTS' of pounds that can be used as an excuse whenever he didnt perform well.

I have to go back to Hopkins in this making weight BS. He's a NATURAL NATURAL 168 lbs fighter that easily makes Middleweight. if BHOP can make weight at a division below his fighting weight then why cant others make just their OWN fighting weight ??????? ( EM's first Belt was @122 )

The fines are not that much less. They are ridicules high, Castillo and Corrales both fined 250 grand.

First you have to look at there diet. Hopkin is a Vegitarian and Morales is not. That in itself explains a lot. Mexican we have to many good food to be vegitarians, lol. Hopkins acutlly came from light heavyweght. And just remember, Morales has ALWAYS made weight.

they were fined 250 grand and they weighed in 4 pounds over the weight limit. If Morales were to weigh that much more and Pac were to accept the fight, Morales would be fined $2 000 000, eight times more than what Coralles and Castillo were fined. Plus probably at least half on the 250 grand went into WBC pockets, whereas the contractual amount that Morales is fined would probably all go to Pac and his camp.
