    Can Calvin Brock do this?

I'm not talking about just beating Wlad (Because he has a chance), but can he straighten out the heavyweight division for once? I have to say that of all the heavyweights right now, Calvin does have the least question marks.

This could be the biggest heavyweight fight, with the most meaning, since Lewis and Vitali. I do know that if Calvin wins, I still want to see him take a few of Wlads best shots just to see how he handles it, because Wlad is probably the hardest puncher in the game right now.

Let’s just say Calvin gets past Wlad then where would that put him? Valuev is a very slow fighter and he can be hurt, as we have seen. Does Calvin have the power to do it? It's a good possibility.

Even then does Calvin have the chin and/or the stamina to wear Maskaev down? I would think he has a good shot at doing so, since Maskaev has had many troubles against American fighters, in the past.

I would have to think that he has the best chance of any heavyweight out there right now and if he can get past Wlad then this is going to get pretty interesting.

Maybe we can finally get some answers soon. Or if Wlad wins then we could just get more questions.

I guess all this leads to one big question, “Why take on Wlad now?” Why not go after Maskaev or Valuev, instead, and work up to Wlad? It would make it a much bigger payday for both of them if they together eliminated Maskaev and Valuev, then fought each other. Plus it would unify the entire division.

Oh well, I am just a fan, so I guess I don’t know anything.

the point about wlad and calvin beaten sergie and nikolay is very valid but i believe after brocks last performance and the reaction it got around the world ment he had to cash in on hes relative name now rather than later because waiting for sergie or nikolay wud mean fighting a bum or inactivty and that would hurt brocks rep more than a loss to wlad

Calvin is not the answer plain and simple.

The only HW that I could see reeling off 6 or 7 straight title defenses is Wlad and we all know that he is always one shot from being iced.

Wlad is the class of the field and has the trainer to probably put him over the top, Peter currently is and probably will remian the biggest threat to the thin chinned Ukranian.

Brock is a tool that I refused to get excited about...beat Wlad and you have got my attention.

I'm not a fan of his either so what does it matter? Yeah, I would like to see if he can play with the big boys or if he will drop just like Wlad does when he gets popped.

Then you must have never watched his fight with Jameel McCline, where he was dropped by a perfect shot by Jameel, beat the count and went to war with McCline. He was beating the larger McCline all over the ring and was close to putting him down in the final seconds of the same round. The round was scored 9-9 because Brock actually won it even with an early knockdown.

                Listen up Pump...

Dont get excited that the Boxing Banker was able to get up and fight back when being smacked by Big Time McCline...Big Time is no benchmark that determines strength of chin, the benchmark comes against Wlad Klitchko...if he gets knocked down, gets up and punishes the Ukranian then we can have a party.

Damn Pump sometimes yu get way to excited!

Yeah, I saw it. Jameel is no Wlad, though.

Brock can not beat Wlad, but I said the same thing about Ross Puritty.
