Bernard doesn't want the fight, Calzaghe can't get blood out of a stone.

Either would be good. Hopkins looked strong against Tarver, but I think Calzaghe would outwork him. Bernard's a bit old. I think Joe v Kessler is better at this stage. People are saying Calzaghe is ducking Kessler. I happen to think Calzaghe beats Kessler.

Hopkins would be the more difficult fight - in terms of opponent, style and location - for Calzaghe. How on earth could anyone say he is ducking a fight when he'd be fighting a current (and arguably over the last decade) P4P fighter instead of someone who by his own admission doesn't have a single world class name on his resume?

It's not going to happen though, so sadly Calzaghe will have to make do with unifying the division. C'est la vie.

Hopkins can make more than twice as much money fighting a heavyweight beltholder, and get a lot more noteriety, win or lose. Calzaghe just can't match that.

I think that if they fought right now b-hop would lose. I mean Lets face it he is in his 40`s. But prime for prime hopkins would easy win this

Superfights are very rare in our sport...

Hopkins v. Calzaghe is certainly such.

Wont happen but god damn I wish it would, it would settle a lot of talk many have had on these boards regarding the two men.

Nard and Oleg should fight on a WWE PPV.

Hopkins is coming off arguably his greatest performance ever...what is so different about the Hopkins you see currently with the one you watched a few years ago?
