Yeah, he said he was going to retire then he signed a 7 fight deal. I'd assume his talking about retirement was a negotiating strategy.

It's not hard to figure it out if you read further into the same articles you read that BS story to begin with. First off, Pac has claimed it as false so no more attention should be given to the issue, although let's say he really did go through with it. Reasons are easy to come by, retire with brains intact, retire rich, retire on top, retire after giving fans exciting fight after exciting fight, and in the long run, to just start on with another career while still young. Besides when you hit 30 in Featherweight years, that's old. Reflects and speed are needed, you lose them and your ****ed.

As a fan, I am disappointed if Manny retires in 2007-08, but as a person I am happy that he made enough money and can do whatever he wants.
                Manny is a great fighter.

Nothing to worry about Manny's retirement. He himself denied it flatly and laughed over it.

Besides, some fighters at their peak announce their retirement only to make a come back.

Besides, if not for Mexico lying beside the US, you'd just like be any Thai, Indonesian, Filipino and other Asian fighters who get exposure once in a blue moon. You are just lucky. Plain lucky.

It would be an even greater embarassment for you not to be in the state you are now because that is expected of you.
How ****ing retarted and blind can you be ??

Lucky for what ? Mexican fighters earn the ****ing exposure they get... Arce for example, nobody knew who the **** he was til he beat the **** out of Hussein... Is that lucky ?? NO... Lets compare that to Donaire and Viloria, they got exposure and what happend? They also got exposed.. They both ****ing suck, they got no heart, no pride in them at all, what a damn ****ing shame, and you call US lucky for having the exposure? just admit you guys ****ing suck and are in the sport cause of Pacquiao only, you guys cant produce as many champions as us.. And i know if we were in another place not near the US we would still be as dominate as we are right now. lol you ****ing monkey go back to your tree with your ***got friend mowgli.
