Just to warn you of something I heard at the rumour mill in AH Towers...

It seems Audley-Skelton is in jeopardy. The fight was announced because there was an agreement "in principle" but there were still a couple of fine points left to finalise. However one of the parties (not Audley) has moved the goalposts somewhat and there is currently a deadlock. I'm not really at liberty to say any more than that, but Audley wants it to be known that he absolutely wants the fight and is willing to concede quite a lot to make it happen. He is also in training with the full intention of fighting on Dec 9. It just depends on the other party in question.

Who gives a damn? It's Audley Harrison and Matt Skelton, who isn't much better. Fight means absolutely nothing.

C'mon man. I LIVE in England and I don't care. Not even the tiniest bit. Neither of these men are even SLIGHTLY well thought of as boxers in arguably the weakest heavyweight era ever.
I'd be more upset if a local amateur event was cancelled near where I live. I like to see young, hungry up-and-comers. Harrison and Skelton are as good as they will ever get and that isn't a high standard. Their fight would be slow, leaden, dull, bereft of skill, magic and excitement.
I don't disrespect any boxer. However I will not watch this calibre of fighter.
