And it amazes me that 1 intentional (but mild) headbutt and 3-5 VERY borderline low shots and people start screaming dirty fighter!

If Abraham did not put on his act, and the ref gave the proper warnings, than this would be a mute issue.

(oh, Miranda said he did not hear the bell after the 2nd round and that's why he continued to fight. In USA and South America the bell is a much different sound)

honestly, i kinda like Edison Miranda, there are many things about him that impress me to be honest... the problem is that Pantera2000 likes him too and i'm beyond tired of his nuthugging posts (he actually just called the Abraham win an 'act' )....

like i said, i'm happy that HBO is continuing to think outside the US borders when it comes to televised fights now, good things..

Since the ref will won't be in the pocket of Gibbs, he won't make look Miranda look bad. Your not gonna see any points deducted from Miranda and 5 min breaks for Gibbs.

Somehow Miranda had fought 25 fights before going to Germany and never had a point taken away for a low blow (or even a warning from the fights I have seen). As a matter of fact, I can only think of 1 time in Pantera's career that he had a point taken away from him before going to Germany.

So don't say some ****** **** like Miranda is a dirty fighter. It was the German's doing everything they could to secure the win.

funny how all his point deductions were for dirty tactics in the biggest and toughest fight of his life. and in case you didnt know, and you probly dont, headbutting is very illegal. so are low blows. and if you do those frequently, like miranda, you are considered a dirty fighter... like miranda.

The 'act' I was referring to was the bending over and grabbing his nuts when Miranda clearly hit him on the belt in rd 11.

Less than 3 months over the very controversal loss to Abraham, HBO has granted Pantera the main event to their Dec 16th date.
