Sosa and ndou were title defenses for his new lightweight title he got from decisioning Castillo twice. corley and bruseles were title eliminators so that he would become mandatory to gatti for his WBC belt. U get it. U fight and defeat whoever in your path in the ring and make yourself mandatory so you want be avoided. U should pass that on to margarito!

I understand that, but that wasn't your argument. You asked who had he fought to deserve a shot and I simply asked who had they fought. I didn't ask you to try and justify why he fought them. Also I love Gatti, but I think we all know that he is way past his prime and was a paper champ, once again with no legitimate shot of winning. Some of us may have wanted to beleive he had a shot or hoped he would win but realistically it was never gonna happen.

I'm not dis*****g that but at the time he was trying to get a fight with Floyd. Now Kassim is fightin Taylor and Winky is fighting Quartey. What would fighting Ishe Smith do for him, he couldn't even make it trough The Contender?

good point, I hear what you saying, only thing is that he had to fight Bruseles and chop chop for gatti and that's what put him over the top (that Gatti win). he doesn't have to fight Margo, he doesn't want margo, margo doesn't do what gatti did for his career. and that's the problem. i don't have a problem with him fighting margo, i have a problem with margo and others like yourself demanding that he does fight him. If he chooses to fight him and give him shot great, but he is not worthy to demand anything! if he wants to demand something, make sure your unavoidable by defeating all obstcales in the ring like Floyd did to get Gatti.
