if Margarito is not mexician and Floyd is mexician you would say that Floyd is too busy making business and Baldomir is better than Margarito and you would bring excuses.

    here is plain and simple

just view both fight with one has lot of experince, speed, agility, good defense and ring smart the other is strong, slow and defensless. The expercine guy had fought someone as strong as this guy but even with very good defense and trap making and sawrming ability and won him, and in another fight he was put in the rope and a lot of combo and was not stunted as well he handle it very well. so conclusion who would you take the experince or the strong guy?

you know this sport is called boxing, the art of hitting without being hit and Mayweather does that perfect?
PBF claims he runs from NOBODY, so why you running now ?

Antonio Margarito is the WBO Welterweight Champ, he is more than a legitimate opponent.

    put up or shut up.

Mexican or not, has nothing to do in this case. its about wanting to see the best fights possible, and right now in the welterweight division Antonio Margarito is it.

Good post... I'm being considered bias or a "nuthugger" because I believe the better man will win... And because I don't know who Margarito is? (When I say this, I really know who he is but, not because of his excellent boxing resume). He calls out PBFloyd and now he's the next big thing... What ever happened to the "stop running from Hatton" topics...? Did everyone give up on that?

question #1. do you know who the WBO (World Boxing Organization) is ?

question #2. do you know who the WBO welterweight champ is ?

question #3. do you know how you become a champion ?

I recommend being a fan of "boxing", rather than a fan of one man, you see a whole lot more

You can't compare Margarito to anybody -besides Castillo- that Floyd has fought, even Baldomier is comparable to Margarito.

Perfect? No, but he is good at it. People belive getting hit in the shoulders and arms is not scoring points thats whats funny too me.

                Is WBO better than WBC?????

I'm gonna guess this list is accurate as far as a recognized champ is concerned...

                1. Carlos Baldomir (43-9-6)
                2. Floyd Mayweather Jr. (36-0)
                3. Antonio Margarito (33-4)
                4. Ricky Hatton (41-0)
                5. Luis Collazo (26-2)
                6. Zab Judah (34-4)
                7. Kermit Cintron (26-1)
                8. Oktay Urkal (37-3)
                9. Paul Williams (31-0)
                10. Arturo Gatti (40-8)

Its the fact that you give Margarito no hope at all in a fight against Mayweather that makes you a nuthugger. Or should i just say you are being a biased American fan.

People stopped talking about Hatton cause of the way Hatton looked after the Collazo fight.

You should remember before the Collazo fight, i would say, that Margarito who ko Hatton, people would go crazy, and say how Maragarito is made for Hatton, lol, and after the Collazo fight, some of these same people then said Margarito would murder Hatton, while i just sat back and aggreed with the new found wisdom found after the Collazo fight by Margarito haters.

No it's not. But Carlos is the WBC champ... Just wondering if his title is less esteemed than Antonio's WBO title.?
