First fight ended too early to even be mentioned here. The second fight, Santos won. We could take a poll right now and most people would agree Santos did enough to win that fight. If you forgot how it went down, check the sig...Last edited by Guest; 10-19-2006, 05:15 PM.Comment

I think there is certain aspect to boxing fans these days, people like "knowing an unknown". If Margarito blasts Clottey/Williams people love to know that all along they had always known about him. If he loses EITHER of those fights, he becomes a obscure commodity that only the hardcore knew about in the first place.
The pressure is on Margarito at this point, because Floyd fighting for the ring championship at WW is far more lucrative, Margarito cant lose, if he loses on any stage at this point it ****s him. If Floyd loses, its really not that huge because hes about 4 divisions up from where he was and is fighting a guy way bigger than him. Regardless, while i dont think that would happen, there is a chance, but the linear title is what floyd was always after, if Morales can get a pass for getting dominated by Zahir Raheem, then i can give zab a chance because of his off night with baldomir. Granted Morales was moving up in weight, it still happened.
Floyd/Margarito may or may not happen but if Margarito loses it will never happen and nobody will give a **** anyway and all this **** will be lost in cyberspace only to be revisited by "I TOLD YOU SO's"Comment

This is precisely why Margarito will not fight any legit challengers. This is why he stayed quiet when all the top welterweights came looking for a piece of that 8 million he likes to flaunt. This is why he is ducking Paul "The Punisher" Williams...Comment
