You might think it's easy to win two heavyweight titles, but it's not. Winning at that level and finding ways to win with limited talent are not that easy, especially when you're not a big heavyweight.

I have always given Ruiz mad respect for his courage and ability to find ways to win on the big stage, but I cant stand watching him fight.

He got into position for title shots with Don King's help, thats the only way to get a title shot. But he beat Holyfield and he beat Rahman fair and square, you can't take that from him. If you keep winning, that's something to be proud of.

the means does not justify the ends in this case. regardless of whether or not he won, the way he won demeans his victories and removes all credibility that he would get from those victories.

ruiz is a theif, simple as that.

I dunno, he didn't win any disputable decisions. Alright fine, so then all the guys I don't like watching were thieves. Cory Spinks and Julio Cesar Chavez should be erased from the record books then. While we're at it, **** Mickey Mantle, get him out of there too.

the oquendo fight was bull****, the golota fight was a robbery, the toney fight was a moral robbery, he wants to sue his old trainer over some equipment, he wanted to sue the WBA for the steroids, the decision against valuev, and the fact that the purse bid with ruslan chagaev is less that 45 days away from the actual fight which is 3 days too soon for ruiz.

not to mention the money he stole from all the fans who paid to see him fight. he robbed them of their money's worth.

john the bum ruiz is a thief.

First things first, if a fan is going to a Ruiz fight not knowing what to expect, he's an idiot plain and simple.

The Oquendo fight was what it was. It takes two to tango and Oquendo himself was responsible for ****ing that up also. Against Golata, it's hard to win a title if you don't win the majority of the rounds. Keep in mind that Ruiz himself doesn't fill out the score cards, the judges do.
