When Erik Morales fights it is truely an event, very few fighters out there ever reach that "event" status in my book.

Dont sleep on the wounded warrior either, I think many have mistaken his last fight with PAC as some sort of blowout and although he was KO'd for the first time he that was one tough ****ing fight for Manny, hell after 5 rounds it appeared to be extremely similiar to their first encounter.

I know it doesn't have anything to do with it, but I just wrote out my idea for implementing public weigh-ins, and now it has been announced that Erik Morales will hold a public weigh-in to show his progress a month from his third figh with Manny Pacquiao. The event concides with the WBC's mandated 30-day weigh-in. Pacquiao won't be there, but Morales will show up and let people know how close he is to the weight. Really, there's no point in doing this unless you are very much on schedule and looking healthy, so Morales must be in great shape. All in all, the public weigh-ins do more to publicize the fight and add extra edges to the promotion. It gets people thinking about the fight again, and considering that the two previous Morales-Pacquiao fights have done around 700, 000 PPV buys combined, it's a good strategy to ensure that the third and final fight will grab a big number. People are going to turn out because it is a competitive fight, the last two were excellent contests, and opinion is split on Morales; some think he's coming out to the slaughter, others think he'll beat Pacquaio this time. Either way, I certainly think that public weigh-ins is a way to go. It benefits the sport in many ways. Fighter's weights are kept above board and the promotion of the fight increases. A month to go and I am looking forward to this fight no end.

No need to talk ****... it will all be settled come Nov. 19... I just wish both fighters the best of luck... I just hope that no unnecessary incidents (e.g. headbutts, unintentional low blows) will happen...

P.S. Pacman is not God, but he's good....
