do you think hatton will move back to 147 after the urango fight?

Cotto does not hold, as a matter of fact he seemed lost when Paulie started holding on the inside, he looked as if he never expected it and didn't know what to do. Hatton and Cotto at 147 should be a helluva fight. In my mind there is only one fighter that comes to mind that would be more beneficial for Mr. Hatton to fight at 147 as opposed to his more comfortable weight of 140...
Who is this fighter you ask?
Floyd Mayweather.
If Hatton is going to fight one guy at 147 it should be Floyd, Floyd is the one fighter that dows not hold an advantage over Ricky at that weight.
Floyd is tiny and is a step quicker at 140 then 147. Of all the guys that are potential opponents for Ricky down the line I say be smart and fight them at the weight you have been most productive at which is clearly 140...except for 1 guy and that one guy is Pretty Boy Floyd, fight that ****er at 147 it may be the advantage you need to win!Comment

How many Hatton threads you gonna make, Dino? I don't even like the pasty paler but the amount of ill-inform bile that gets spread about him on here makes my hair curl sometimes.
I love the way people talk about Hatton fighting "nobodies", but then acknowledge that he never had the chance to fight anyone else. The guy was kept out of the loop for years due to lack of US funding, and since he got it he's had three back-to-back world title fights, against admittedly variable opposition.
The weight issue isn't an issue, it was clearly stated that HBO wanted him to move up, against the wishes of his trainer.
Lastly, all the talk about "we know what he's like at 147". No, we don't. We might do, but isn't it a little early to judge on ONE fight, and against a southpaw that he clearly had difficulty with? Let's not make rash judgements after just ONE fight.Comment

mayweather will lose before hatton. i will bet anything on that.Hatton vs. Mayweather will never happen because by the end of next year, Hatton will no longer be undefeated. Of course, this is only if he fights the top welters. His " 0 " is the ONLY thing exciting about him, and once that goes, Mayweather and the boxing public won't be interested anymore.Comment

Stepping up a weight class, on a few weeks notice to face a tricky southpaw who is also the belt holder was always gonna give Hatton problems, but he got through it and now he can spend a year bullying the new boys at 140 (JLC & Corrales)..shutting the mouth of a few belt holding no-talents (Witter & Cotto) and then finally take a shot at the big prize (PBF).
I wasn't being serious about Cotto, he has lots of talent and is a pleasure to watch, but Witter..I respect his boxing skills as much as I respect Dino's skills for putting together a coherent argument.Comment
